Menace Music is a working room, not a showroom. It is set up so an artist can walk in, sit down and sing — the patching is done, the mics are up, and the headphone mix is the first thing anyone hears.
Vocal Booth
Isolated and treated, with sight lines back to the control room. Big enough to be comfortable for a long vocal day rather than a closet with a mic in it.
Guitar Wall
Three decades of instruments, kept in playing condition and within reach. Dennis is a session guitar player first — the wall is used, not decorated.
Outboard & Racks
LA-610 Mk IIs on the way in, a Dangerous Music D-Box on the output, and UAD Apollo Quads carrying the conversion.
Microphones
A locker chosen for voices rather than for a spec sheet — two Neumann TLM 103s, Teegarden PPC-125s, an MXL V69 with the Teegarden mod, and the workhorse Shures.
